A thick walnut slab with a softly rounded edge, set on a black steel base with a solid walnut shelf below.
The top is a single wide board of walnut, its grain running from dark chocolate to honey where the figure catches the light. Every edge is eased into a generous round-over, so the slab reads as thick and soft rather than sharp.
Underneath, two black steel frames lift it off the floor and carry a lower shelf glued up from straight-grained walnut — a quieter surface for books and remotes, so the top gets to be the show.
